The Inconvenience of Love: A Love Story

About

Vincent Ingraham thought he would never find love again after his dysfunctional twenty-five years marriage finally ended with Millicent. He had accepted that his life was centered around his construction business and living vicariously through his three sons. But fate had other plans for him and he knew it immediately on that faithful Thursday morning in the bank, when his eyes glanced over at the beautiful and young bank teller Genevieve Thompson, a young lady three decades his junior – it mattered not the age difference, he just knew and so did his heart that she had to become his. At first, she was not sure of her feelings for him, but over time she too knew that it had to be him and only him in her life. Her heart finally welcomed him in and it was at such a perfect time, she had most recently lost her mother – her plus one as she always described her. Thankfully in her grief, she had her dog Spaghetti and her best friend Estelly. But she needed more and he was her fill. It was a love that she wanted to last forever. Unbeknownst to them both, another man had also fallen in love with her. But he knew he could not betray his love and loyalty to his father – so he kept his heart at a distance, not wanting to fall anymore in love with her. But it was already too late, his heart was fixated on loving her and there was no turning back now. He was frustrated at this most inconvenient time for his heart to fall in love again – he had lost the first love of his life two years ago and was focused on his dental practice not venturing out to find another. Then of all persons, his heart falls in love with the very woman that has his father’s heart.
